How to deal with stress

Hi everyone! It is Rachel with my first video here on live study hacks. Today, we will be giving some quick and easy tips on how you can take action on relieving your stress. Just for your information. This video will be divided into two parts.I know that for some people here really need advice right now, but others of you need long term stress management techniques. So use what you need in this video. Okay, so Without wasting any time, let us get straight into the video.

First thing first, is that you must Be present! Stop thinking about the possible outcomes at the moment and think about what you can do now, to get there. You must detach yourself from the result, and keep in mind that everything in life is there to help you learn. Remember that the practice that makes progress, even though cliche it sounds it holds to be true. So start thinking about what you can do now and start taking action!

For many individuals stress can often occur from working too hard, so try to take breaks. Because sometimes it is better to go back to go forward. I warn you not to get too distracted in this process, and then you end up procrastinating. But put a timer, try doing something that makes you relaxed. Whether that may be mediating and bringing that alpha state of mind to help you study, playing music, drawing or doing a brain dump or journaling But in this process try limiting tv encounters or social media, because they get very distracting.

***Also a side note, make sure when you are stressed try to drink a lot of water and take shower because they can really help with calming yourself down. It is really important to take care of yourself.***

Lastly, you need to talk to someone. Maybe think about a family member, a friend or your mentor. Someone who knows how to cheer you up when you have a bad day. Remember that there are always people there for you despite the negativity that you face in this world!

Okay so these are short term stress management skills I would suggest, to those who have to study who have to study for something that is coming up very soon. You can skip or also you  stick around to the bonus training at the end of the video, where I suggest short methods that you can use to calm yourself down.

Now for the long term stress management

For this first tip, this is something that I believe you should do now, Decide to change your life around. 90% of the world right now, trains to be stressful, they may not be knowing that they are doing that, but they are. Avoid training to be stressful,be positive and avoid, and stick to your gut feelings. Do not let others shape your life. Remember your why? Whether that may be for your family or to be closer to your goals in life or to fulfill your dreams.

Number 2 Challenge yourself and find the right study groups

Get around people who are hungry. Tony Robbins, a motivational speaker, says that there was a time in his life that he thought that he was happy where he was at right now. Providing for his family, he was poor, and was able to do so much. But then when he saw his multi- billionaire, and went home he saw his place and told himself that he didn’t like where he was at right now, and decided to provide where it is way better.

Finally, Number 3 If you ask for it, then believe in it, and take action, then you can truly become it.

You must believe you can do it, because someone wants something to happen;to pick in enough effort and energy. Because they think that it will never happen, and when they decide to do it, society tells them that is not possible. But you must believe with a state certainty. If you believe with your heart, nothing can stop. So all in all, Believe-  take full action- and get results.

BONUS TRAINING

Okay let’s move on to bonus training. So I will share with you two techniques that are bound to help you get into that mindful state. Number one, I found  this on a video where you put your hand and put your finger in the certain of your hand. And count to five. And associate each number with a color. Let’s try it out 1 think blue 2 think red 3 think green 4 think purple 5 think pink. I mean it calmed down a little. Then the boxing breathing technique I tend to do this before a performance. So breathe in 4 seconds, hold your breath for 4 seconds and breath out for 4 seconds, do this as many times as you need. This always calms me down, no matter if I am stressed or not.

I really hoped you found this video help. Please make sure to like this video and subscribe. See you next time! Bye!:)
